State Representative Dave Rogers files Home Rule Petitions
BOSTON – State Representative Dave Rogers joined with State Senator Will Brownsberger in filing three Home Rule Petitions on behalf of the Town of Belmont. During the town meetings of late September and early October, Belmont Town Meeting passed three measures that require passage in the State House: 1) additional wine and beer licenses for restaurants, 2) additional licenses for the sale of alcohol from a store, and 3) the establishment of the position of Town Administrator. Each having met with local approval, their movement through the legislature’s deliberative process should be swift and without issue.
