Get Health Care Advice for the January 1st Insurance Deadline

January 1, 2014 is the date by which everyone in the United States must have health insurance. Many now find themselves scrambling to get insurance, a process that has proven more complicated than expected. While the challenges of this process are significant, there are resources that can help.

 

For those with questions about the process here in Massachusetts, the best help service is provided by Health Care For All.  You can visit their website or call their excellent, free HelpLine at 1-800-272-4232.  For information about what their HelpLine counselors can do, read more here.

 

Those with more general question about the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) will be well served by Consumer Reports’ new Health Law Helper.  The site asks a series of basic questions before layout out consumers’ options.
